For the fifth year in a row, Dexterity attended the American Association of Christian Counselors Conference in Nashville, TN. The event brought together thousands of counselors, educators, writers, speakers, and influencers to explore the newest trends and research in the Christian counseling space.
Dexterity joined dozens of other exhibitors to showcase our catalog of books. This year we saw particular interest in titles like Jesus and Therapy by Tabitha Yates, Slow Living by NYT bestselling author Stephanie O’Dea, and the Satisfied series by AACC-speaker Dr. Rhona Epstein.
Attendees were treated to exclusive show discounts on all their purchases from Dexterity. We also an in-booth giveaway featuring a Stanley tumbler, Target gift card, and—of course—books!

During the conference, two Dexterity authors hosted signings in our booth on the exhibitor floor. On day one of the conference, Dr. Rhona Epstein signed copies of all four of her Satisfied books for attendees. A leading voice and AACC staple for many years, she also led two sessions during the conference on her specialty of food addiction and recovery. The final day of the conference saw author and influencer Tabitha Yates sign copies of her debut book Jesus and Therapy.
From increased inclusivity to unique issues faced by Gen Z and Gen Alpha clients, there are many unique issues facing counselors today, but AACC and it’s partners are tackling these problems with collaboration, research, and faith. Team Dexterity had a wonderful time talking with attendees, learning more about the current landscape of Christian counseling, and sharing our catalog of resources.
