Dear friends,
I’m so grateful to finally share this with you.
The Controlled Burn video curriculum is now officially available. While the book tells the story, the video curriculum invites you inside it.
What sets this experience apart is its intimacy. Each session was filmed inside my home, in a quiet, personal setting—where I’m not presenting from a stage or speaking to a crowd, but walking with you, one lesson at a time. This curriculum is for those who have read Controlled Burn and found themselves wanting more space to sit with the truths, wrestle with the questions, and let the message move from the page into their lived faith.
Over six video sessions, I expand on the heart of the book—suffering and surrender, loss and trust, waiting and hope, and the steady presence of Emmanuel—God with us in every fire we face. I share what I couldn’t fully say in print, guiding learners slowly and intentionally through the journey God led me on.
This is not a course about fixing pain or rushing healing. It’s an invitation to slow down, to be honest, and to encounter God in the middle of what you’re carrying.
I also want to share this: the video curriculum can be a meaningful gift for someone you love who is walking through a hard season. Sometimes it’s difficult to know what to say or how to help—but this can be a way of saying, “You’re not alone, and you don’t have to walk this road by yourself.”
