RHONA EPSTEIN, PSY.D., is a licensed psychologist, addictions counselor, and marriage and family therapist in the Philadelphia area, and the author of multiple books including Food Triggers and Satisfied. For more than thirty years, she’s led seminars, conferences, and therapeutic workshops to help people overcome food addiction and its underlying issues.
Dr. Rhona received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Chestnut Hill College and her master’s degree in counseling psychology from Temple University. Fueled by her own experience and recovery from food addiction, she is passionate about addressing the needs of the whole person (mind, body, and spirit). Dr. Rhona lives in the Philadelphia, PA, area. The Satisfied Guide to Eating Well is her fifth book.
JACKIE MACK, MS, RDN, LDN is a dietitian, farm keeper, and accidental entrepreneur. She graduated from West Chester University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in nutrition and dietetics and a Master of Science in community nutrition. She was in one of the first cohorts to complete a dietetic internship. Her contributions to The Satisfied Guide to Eating Well incorporate her higher-level education in nutrition and dietetics and her postgraduate experiential learning in psychology. She helped create this book to accentuate the importance of whole-body wellness.
Pulling from her farming and cooking background, her laid-back and natural approach helps others feel comfortable while avoiding diets, metabolic screenings, and bizarre supplements. She currently resides in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, with her loving husband, goats, and chickens. The Satisfied Guide to Eating Well is her first book.
